After graduating from Princeton University with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Mr. Patton worked as an engineer in Tactical Aircraft Flight Test for The Boeing Company. At Boeing, he was assigned to the US Navy Flight Test Squadron VX-23, where he worked in F/A-18 Super Hornet, EA-18 Growler, and T-45 Goshawk flight test. While working in this capacity, Mr. Patton engaged in the testing and evaluation of highly complex avionics, weapons, and propulsion systems as part of a continuing effort to expand the capabilities and performance envelope of the aircraft.

After three years at Boeing, Mr. Patton attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he helped lead the Product Design and Manufacturing Club, an organization that plans the largest student-run event at the GSB. In addition to earning his MBA, Mr. Patton also completed certificate work in Product Creation and Innovative Manufacturing while at Stanford.

While not on the job, Mr. Patton enjoys flying aerobatics (he holds a commercial pilot’s license,) attempting to keep in shape, and traveling. He is also, thanks to his newfound proximity to the Lake Tahoe area, a snow sports neophyte.
