![]() ISAAC LEONARD Vice President PHONE: +1 650 322 3077 Isaac Leonard has over 15 years of technology experience in software and online services ranging from engineering, technology architecture, product strategy and planning, product management, and business development. Mr. Leonard also has a strong interest in working with startups, as evident from his involvement with such companies throughout his career. Most recently Mr. Leonard worked at Microsoft, providing competitive strategy and analysis on Server and Web2.0 platforms. Previously, he managed acquisitions and strategic partnerships aligned with the Server and Tools and Online Services Groups. While at Microsoft, Mr. Leonard engaged with software companies identifying strategic fit, joint market opportunities and built strategic rationale for those relationships. During his time at Microsoft, he had the opportunity to work with many early-stage software companies, ranging from traditional, Web2.0, SaaS ISVs, open source, and the like. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Leonard served as director of technology marketing and consulting at Information Resources, managing product strategy, planning and architecture for online services targeting CPG retailers and manufacturers. He worked closely with engineering teams and external partners in bringing new sets of software products/online services to market. Mr. Leonard comes to GrowthPoint Technology Partners with a rich consulting background in the United States and India–having provided several companies with business and technology strategy. His former clients include AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Prudential, Gillette, PepsiCo, NewsAmerica, Campbell’s, Welch’s, and Oceanspray. Mr. Leonard graduated first class from University of Madras with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the McComb’s School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys a challenging game of tennis (singles) and recently has joined millions of fellow earthlings in pursuit of the perfect golf game. |
